First TUSAL of 2013
On December 31, 2012, I emptied my orts into a plastic bag. I always try to scatter them on the first day of spring on my bushes and trees to help the birds with their nests.
I don't know if they actually take them, but I like to think they might.
Here is 11 days worth of stitching for this month.

Lots of pretty ORTs! I think the birds use them. I put out bits of string and last year even put out little strips of an old shirt of DH. I watched the birds from the window taking the fabric strips and saw a bit sticking out of a nest later in the summer.
