Each of us stitched a 6" square from one of the designs found on a Scarlet Letter sampler.
I chose my funny looking little sheep (?) from The Harriot Boardman Sampler.
This was embroidered free-style. It is impossible to stitch it the same way twice!
48 squares were collected from stitchers from 9 countries, Australia, Canada, France, Scotland, Spain, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and in the United States, 21 different states! 44 different Scarlet Letter samplers were represented.
Here is a wonderful video of the quilt:
I received a lovely thank you email from Nicola, I think she really loved the quilt!
It was such a pleasure to take part in this group effort.

It was not in my budget either, Erica. :( I wish we all could have been there. Your square was so beautiful. I loved all the satin stitching!
The quilt is just beautiful! Obviously so much work went into it.
Love your quilt block! I enjoyed seeing mine among all the lovelies. It was fun to be a part of, even long distance!
You contributed such a lovely quilt block. Great stitching!
Stunning quilt. Your block is lovely. I would imagine that Nicola was very happy with such a gorgeous gift!
It would have been amazing to see all our overseas friends there. I don't think Nicola would have recovered from the shock!
We are hoping to make it an annual meet up so maybe another year?
What a lovely square, and the quilt is just amazing - well done to you all.
Your square is lovely and the quilt is stunning, congratulations to you all
Wow! I bet Nicola is still speechless! This is the perfect gift for her! So very thoughtful!
I had purchased SDW last year... inspired by all of you who stitched along with the Scarlett Letter Year.... I hope to start it soon... :-)
